A New Season…

After 45 years of pastoral ministry, Judy and I are excited to announce that we are launching a new ministry called “BRINGING HOPE MINISTRIES”. ..based on the scripture in Romans 15:13

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Our passion is to bring the hope and joy of Jesus to everyone we meet.

Specifically raising up the next generation of Christian leaders in Canada and around the world, through coaching, teaching, and leadership development

VOLUNTEERS IN MISSIONS

Recently we have become Volunteers In Missions with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada which allows us to work with PAOC Global Workers. Our main focus has been to work with Global Worker Bill Pipke in the area of Commissioning A Lifestyle of Integrity (https://cli.international) and Bridging China & Africa.

Bridging China & Africa is an organization that seeks to serve Chinese workers who are part of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative in Africa. These workers don’t speak the local language well and are housed in separate compounds from the community. As a result, isolation and misunderstanding can often exist between these workers and the local people. We operate the BCA Cultural Centre in Zambia that seeks to offer Chinese workers a place to orient themselves to their new community. We have planted a church at the Cultural Centre, and are seeing many Chinese come to faith in Jesus Christ.

Our association with Bill Pipke takes us to the nations of Africa several times a year. 

TEACHING

The Lord has opened doors for Garry to teach overseas. Presently he serves as adjunct faculty member at Trans African Christian University in Kitwe Zambia. A few times a year he teaches intensive courses for TACU.

Garry has also had the privilege to teach courses at SETCAR Seminary in the Dominican Republic with Ryan DeWeerd. It’s a joy to connect with students on this level.

Recently Garry has been in contact with GlobalEd which is part of the equipping arm of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. They exist to assist national churches in equipping leaders in over 30 countries of the world. There are opportunities to teach in that area.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

We have years of experience developing leaders in the church context. God has opened doors for us to share our knowledge and experience through leadership seminars, pastor’s conferences, and by other means.

COACHING

Garry is a certified coach with Coaching Canada. He has experienced the benefit of coaching in his own life and this has inspired him to assist others by becoming a Life Coach. If you need help getting unstuck, figuring out direction for your life, setting goals, navigating change, working through a transition, or bringing focus to anything you are working through please contact him. 

Judy also has a gift of coming alongside to give counsel, encourage, and pray with folks. This has been a blessing to many!
